This question has a few different answers. First, if it is a shallow scratch it may be possible to just lightly sand the finish and spray a clear finish over the sanded area. Second, if the scratch is deeper you will have to sand deeper into the wood and then get a matching stain and stain the wood, start with lightly staining the wood, don&#039;t make it too dark too soon, build up to the right color. After the stain is dry coat with a clear finish. Third, if the scratch is too deep you need to fill it with a wood putty, sand, and then apply the stain to match and finally coat with a clear finish.</description>
